I’m a huge fan of the Long Drive Championship that takes place every year and one of my favorite competitors is Jamie Sadlowski. This average looking player can crush a golf ball 445 yards! Yes, you heard me right. I found this video that also shows us that Jamie has some skill when it comes to accuracy too. Check out this video with some amazing trick shots and boys being boys.

As some of you may know, the IPCPR 2015 came to a conclusion a couple of weeks ago, and there are some awesome new cigars that were released. Many of these cigars will be available at the Club Humidor on Huebner Road in San Antonio, TX. Watch as I sip on a little Shiner Bock Oktoberfest and enjoy one of my favorite cigars, The Eastern Standard (Cypress Room) by Caldwell Cigar Company… The new standard for cigars. Here is a brief list of the cigars that I mention in the video:
Drew Estate: Undercrown Shade
Davidoff Cigars: Escurio
Padron: Damaso (Connecticut)
Caldwell Cigar Company: Sevillana Reserva, Blind Man’s Bluff, Gibraltar Extra, and Muricas Especial
Joya de Nicaragua: Cuatro Cinco Reserva Especial
Altadis USA: Montecristo Vintage White Connecticut
El Centurion: H-2K-CT
La Flor Dominicana: Coronado

I had the privilege to attend the event held at the Club Humidor in San Antonio, TX on Thursday July 30, 2015 for the release of the new Davidoff Escurio cigar. This cigar has Brazilian tobaccos, and that was definitely the theme for the evening. There was some awesome Brazilian food that was catered, as well as some nice Brazilian rum for tasty beverages. This highly anticipated cigar has finally made it’s way into the shop. Come try one out today! I’m sure this cigar is just the beginning of all of the new releases that will start arriving at the shop here pretty soon because the annual IPCPR cigar trade show just finished last week. From what I’ve heard, the Club Humidor is going to be bringing in a lot of the new releases from this year’s trade show. Yay!
Come taste the release of the new Davidoff Escurio Cigar!

The Eastern Standard by Caldwell Cigars is one of my favorite new cigars of 2015. The last time I was at the Club Humidor on Huebner Road, they were unboxing two new sizes of the Eastern Standard that they recently received. The Huebner location used to only carry the “Euro Express” size which is a 44×5.5, but now they have the “Corretto” size 50×5, and the “Cream Crush” size 48×7. I can’t wait to pick up some of the new Cream Crushes! I’ve already stocked up on a handful of the Euro Expresses, but now it’s time to add some Cream Crushes to my collection. Be sure to read my review of the Eastern Standard.
In this short video I will show you how to set-up and use the Lampe Berger air freshener. These things work awesome at home to help keep the air smelling fresh (and not like cigar smoke). Sometimes after leaving your local humidor after a busy night you might end up leaving and smelling like a human cigar. That’s all fine and dandy until you get home and your significant other thinks otherwise! These French lamps work pretty cool by burning fresh scented oils. The fragrances smell wonderful, and there are a lot of different scents to choose from. I bought my Lampe Berger from my local Club Humidor on Huebner Road. If you don’t have a retailer in your area, you can also order them on Amazon. Here are a couple quick tips: 1.) Let the wick soak up the fragrance for at least 15 minutes before you light it. 2.) Make sure the burner/wick is inserted fully (and firmly) into the base and snaps into place 3.) After you light the burner, let the flame burn for at least 2 full minutes. 4.) Place the Lampe Berger in a nice open area at home so the fragrance can easily spread throughout the home.
The Club Humidor’s Thousand Oaks location is another awesome lounge to hang out at, watch some sports on the flat screens and even play some pool. They have a nice walk-in humidor with a huge selection of premium cigars. I love it when this location has cigar events because it has a huge open area and they usually have some awesome food spreads to compliment the adult beverages. If you are a chess player this location is for you. They have nice wooden chess tables (with pieces) that you can play on while you smoke your cigar.
